About the Experience
Museos de Coyoacán offers an opportunity to explore two of Mexico City’s most iconic cultural landmarks, providing insight into the artistic, historical, and territorial legacy of key figures in Mexican art. The journey begins with a visit to the Anahuacalli Museum, conceived by Diego Rivera as a space to preserve and share his vast collection of pre-Hispanic art, as well as his vision of the relationship between culture, architecture, and landscape. Following lunch at the museum, the experience continues to la Casa Azul, the former home of Frida Kahlo and one of the most visited museums in the country, where participants can gain a deeper understanding of her life and work. This experience invites reflection on Mexican identity, creativity, and the connections between art, design, architecture, memory, and territory.
